Yes, it can be. If you already have broadband Internet access at all of the locations that you want to call, you can use Skype or one of the other free VoIP products to make and receive calls through the Internet. If you want to call someone on a standard landline, or mobile phone then you will have to have some type of calling plan, at a cost, which will allow you to call through the Public Switched Telephone Network. Many VoIP carriers offer services with included minutes, or unlimited calling at a flat monthly cost. Back > |
