Planning service provides system planning for IT projects including Internet, Local and Wide Area Network, wireless/mobile networking and cabling. The project area may include Bandwidth and carrier decisions, new site(s), expansions or modifications, rollouts, relocation and cable re-engineering etc.

The planning service is a five- (5) step process aimed at fully developing your need statement and providing decisional information for the IT Project under consideration

Need Statements:

CSM rep(s) will visit with your management on site for initial need analysis without obligation. The visit may be followed by our engineer's visit and/or phone call to clarify and/or modify the management's expectations. The interaction may continue until goals and objective are mutually agreed to before proceeding with further services.

There after, you decide and provide us a retainer for further services which will be adjusted against project implementation cost, if we were to provide such services.

Site Evaluation:

CSM engineer(s) will visit your site to collect information on the condition and capability of the existing telecom lines and cabling infrastructure, cabling electronics (such as routers, csu/dsu, switches, hubs and nics etc.), workstations and server(s), application software etc., as appropriate and recommend changes, if warranted before addressing the need statement.

System Design:

CSM technical staff will research and develop plausible solutions for your need statement and make recommendation(s). Develop configurations, product and service specifications and part numbers for the recommended solution.

Configuration Costing:

Develop cost elements with fair market prices (or better cost schedules, if applicable), both for the existing site changes and/or the new system as appropriate.

You are free to procure recommended products from vendor of your choice.

Proposal:

CSM rep along with the project engineer would prepare the proposal and present the results to and answer questions from the client.
